Limited Warranty

Our furniture and décor are crafted to last. This Limited Warranty applies to the original retail purchaser, covers residential use only, and is non-transferable. Where Irish or EU consumer law grants you additional rights, those rights remain unaffected.

Structural Frame: 10 years on hardwood frames & serpentine springs.
Finishes/Components: 2 years on cushions, recliner mechanisms. 1 year on fabrics & leathers.

Product Category: Decorative Objects & Lighting
Structural Frame: -
Finishes/Components: 1 year on manufacturing defects.

Product Category: Outdoor Furniture
Structural Frame: 3 years on aluminium / steel / poly-rattan frames.
Finishes/Components: 3 years on weave & table tops, 1 year on cushions, parasol canopies, gas-lift parts.

Note: Years are counted from the delivery date shown on your sales receipt.

Whats Covered

  • Workmanship & materials that result in cracks, loose joints, weld failures, broken springs, or seam splits under normal home use.

For Example, Split leg on a Flamant dining table, detached serpentine spring in a sofa.

  • Manufacturer defects in stone, marble, glass, mirror backing, or lighting wiring present at delivery.

For example, Mirror ghosting within 30 days, faulty lamp holder.

  • Premature fading of Outdoor poly-rattan or painted aluminium (within 3 years).

For example, Notable colour shift on lounge set.

What isn't covered

  • Damage due to misuse, commercial or rental use, neglect, pet damage, or failure to follow our Product Care Guide.
  • Natural aging: patina, knots, grain variation, slight softening of seat cushions, or relaxation of leather.
  • Minor alignment issues or gaps ±3 mm inherent to hand-finished wooden furniture.
  • Water rings, heat marks, or chemical damage (including harsh cleaning agents).
  • Rust or corrosion on outdoor pieces left in standing water or unventilated covers.
  • Transportation or assembly performed by anyone other than Elms approved technicians.

How To Make A Claim

  1. Notify us in writing within the warranty period to manager@theelms.ie.
  2. Include: order number, photos/video of the issue, and a brief description.
  3. Allow our Service Team up to 10 working days to respond with next steps.
  4. We may schedule an inspection or request the item be returned to our Punchestown Hub.

Our Remedy

At our discretion we will repair, replace with the same or comparable item, or refund the original purchase price (less delivery fees). Replacement pieces carry the balance of the original warranty.

Additional Terms

  • This warranty is void if the product is moved outside Ireland after delivery.
  • Natural materials (oak, marble, linen, leather) react to humidity and light. Colour and grain variation are considered a hallmark, not a defect.
  • Transportation for approved repairs within 30 km of The Elms is complimentary. Beyond this distance, call-out charges may apply.

Your Statutory Right

Nothing in this Limited Warranty affects any rights you may have under the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act 1980, the Consumer Rights Act 2022, or other applicable legislation.
